ESD-Safe Stack and Hang Parts Bins — Conductive Storage for Electronics Assembly

These are Quantum's conductive Ultra Stack and Hang parts bins — the static-safe bin the people who build boards reach for. Every bin is molded from carbon-filled copolymer polypropylene, so the whole bin, not just a surface coating, carries static charge safely away instead of letting it build up on the parts inside. Surface resistivity is less than 105 ohms per square, the conductive range, which protects ICs, bare boards, populated PCBs, connectors, and other static-sensitive components from electrostatic discharge, EMI, and induced fields.

The open hopper front gives fast, one-handed access at a pick, placement, or hand-solder bench, and a molded label holder keeps parts identified on a moving line. Each bin stacks squarely on the one below it or hangs from louvered panels, rails, and rack systems, so you can build a static-controlled flow from the stockroom to the SMT line to rework and kitting. Made in the USA and sold by the carton, in 10 sizes from a small-component bin up to an 18-inch bin for subassemblies and larger parts.

Built for Electronics Assembly

SMT & Hand-Solder Benches

Keep loose components, hardware, and kitted parts within reach at pick, placement, and hand-solder stations — static-safe the whole way down the line, so a charge never reaches the part a tech is about to place.

PCB Assembly, Rework & Kitting

Hold bare and populated boards, ICs, and connectors in a static-controlled path from stockroom to bench. The hopper front makes picking fast; hang the bins on rails above a rework or kitting station to free up the work surface.

Repair & Failure-Analysis Labs

Organize pulled components, spares, and devices under test without risking a static event. Label holders keep serialized parts identified while they move between benches.

Data-Center & Spare Cribs

Store drives, memory, cards, and network spares in bins that won't charge the parts they protect — stacked on a shelf or hung on a louvered panel in the crib.

Frequently Asked Questions

They are molded from carbon-filled copolymer polypropylene, so the entire bin is conductive and carries static charge safely away instead of letting it build up. Surface resistivity is less than 105 ohms per square — the conductive range — which protects ICs, boards, and other static-sensitive components from electrostatic discharge, EMI, and induced fields.
These are conductive bins, with surface resistivity below 105 ohms per square. Conductive plastic moves charge quickly to ground, which is what most PCB assembly, SMT, and component-handling programs specify for bins and totes at the bench. If your process documents call out a specific resistivity range, confirm it against this spec before you standardize.
Each bin stacks securely on the one below it, or hangs from the molded rear hang lock onto louvered panels, rails, and rack systems. That lets you set up the same bin as benchtop storage, as a hanging rail above a workstation, or on a bin rack feeding the line.
Yes. A molded label holder on the hopper front keeps parts identified. Optional dividers and label inserts are sold separately.
10 sizes, from 5-3/8" x 4-1/8" x 3" up to 18" x 16-1/2" x 11". Use the Outside Length, Width, and Height filters above the table to narrow to what fits your bench, rail, or rack, and open the quick view on any row for inside dimensions.

Yes. These conductive stack-and-hang bins are made in the USA by Quantum Storage Systems.
