ESD-Safe Dividable Grid Containers — Conductive Component Boxes for Electronics Assembly

These are Quantum's conductive dividable grid containers — the static-safe divider box the people who build and repair boards reach for when loose components need their own compartment. Every box is molded from carbon-filled copolymer polypropylene, so the whole container, not just a surface coating, carries static charge safely away instead of letting it build up on the parts inside. Surface resistivity is less than 105 ohms per square, the conductive range, which protects ICs, bare and populated PCBs, connectors, and other static-sensitive components from electrostatic discharge, EMI, and induced fields.

The molded interior grid accepts long dividers (DL) and short dividers (DS) that drop into slots both lengthwise and widthwise, so you can split one box into compartments as small as 1-1/8" square and re-lay them out whenever a build changes. Boxes stack squarely on top of each other, so you can hold a static-controlled flow from the stockroom to the SMT line to rework and kitting on one footprint. Made in the USA and sold by the carton, in 11 sizes across three footprints — roughly 11" x 8", 16-1/2" x 10-7/8", and 22-1/2" x 17-1/2" — in several heights. Dividers are sold separately so you buy only the configuration each box needs.

Built for Electronics Assembly

Component Kitting

Divider boxes are the natural kit tray for electronics work. Give every IC, connector, fastener, and subassembly its own compartment, then hand the whole static-safe box to the line so a build travels in one container — no charge reaching the parts along the way.

SMT & Hand-Solder Benches

Keep loose components and hardware sorted and within reach at pick, placement, and hand-solder stations. Compartments as small as 1-1/8" square keep small parts from mixing, static-safe the whole way down the line.

Repair & Failure-Analysis Labs

Organize pulled components, spares, and devices under test in separated slots without risking a static event. Reconfigure the dividers as a job changes, and add a label holder to keep serialized parts identified.

Stockroom & WIP Transport

Move bare and populated boards, ICs, and connectors between the stockroom, SMT line, rework, and test in a box that won't charge the parts it protects. Boxes stack, and snap-on covers keep dust and debris out in transit.

Frequently Asked Questions

They are molded from carbon-filled copolymer polypropylene, so the entire box is conductive and carries static charge safely away instead of letting it build up. Surface resistivity is less than 105 ohms per square — the conductive range — which protects ICs, boards, and other static-sensitive components from electrostatic discharge, EMI, and induced fields.
These are conductive boxes, with surface resistivity below 105 ohms per square. Conductive plastic moves charge quickly to ground, which is what most PCB assembly, SMT, and component-handling programs specify for bins and totes at the bench. If your process documents call out a specific resistivity range, confirm it against this spec before you standardize.
Each box has a molded interior grid that accepts long dividers (DL) and short dividers (DS). They drop into slots both lengthwise and widthwise, letting you build compartments as small as 1-1/8" square and re-lay them out whenever a job changes. Dividers are conductive like the box and are sold separately, so you buy only the layout each container needs.
Optional snap-on covers and clear dust-cover inlays protect contents from dust and debris in storage and transit, and clear label holders keep compartments identified. These accessories are sold separately.
11 sizes across three footprints — about 11" x 8", 16-1/2" x 10-7/8", and 22-1/2" x 17-1/2" — in several heights, from 10-7/8" x 8-1/4" x 2-1/2" up to 22-1/2" x 17-1/2" x 12". Use the Outside Length, Width, and Height filters above the table to narrow to what fits your bench, cart, or shelf, and open the quick view on any row for inside dimensions.
